So I've been in Jacksonville, FL this week attending a conference just trying to stay awake. This afternoon I drove up to Kings Bay, GA to a BBQ with friends and I carelessly stopped at a Starbucks for a pick-me-up on the way back to FL this evening. So now I'm awake and trying to wind down so I thought I would type for a minute.
Diona and the girls have been having a great week, not the boredom I'm having to deal with all day! I love getting the little voice messages from the girls saying good morning, it sure makes it easier to get up. Only one more day here though and I'll be back in VA (can't wait).
Only a couple more weeks till the Jonas Brothers concert, I'm so excited (j/k)! It's just another one of our surprises for the girls that will most likely be dropped on them as we're walking out the door to go somewhere super boring (the little ways we entertain ourselves, lol).

You really do love torturing the girls, don't you? Wow, they'll love this surprise, take lots of pictures! Is it hot in Florida? I get to go to a one-day "retreat" today. It starts at a restaurant and ends on the river with meetings in between and lots of information that doesn't pertain to me, but it's only once a year! We've had the AZ monsoons affecting our weather and so we are hot and humid today.
I remember one time (I think we were probably staying at your house) my parents loaded us up in the van to go to a "park." On the way there they start talking about what we would do if we got lost and said to find someone that worked at the park. That seemed really weird to me as the only people I'd ever seen working at a park where cutting the grass or emptying the trash cans. Of course the "park" was Disneyland.
