These kids....

Friday night... Dinner as usual... Maybe not... Ric puts together a special dinner for us Beef wellington, steamed veggies, mashed potatoes, gravy and some nice baguette rolls... Yummy right? Well as far as these girls are concerned, NO! These girls complained about everything. They eat the rolls with no problem, the wellington was like pulling teeth! Ric starts joking around and says, "Well if it's supposed to taste like a.s.s (spelled) then that's what it taste like!" Alainna pops up, "No! I know what that spells!" We say "what do you think it means?" She then gestures to her rear! How in the world does my 6 year old know how to spell the word ASS?! I also can't figure out how she knows what ASS means! We told her to go get the dictionary so she could look it up and see how she was wrong.

Alright, its Saturday morning and we decide to get up and make french toast and eggs... Sounds like a great breakfast right? No, not to these girls if it's not cereal it's no good! Alainna and Isabel immediately sit down at the table waiting for some coco puffs. Ric says to them, "You don't have to sit down yet we're having french toast and mommy hasn't started yet'. Alainna's response, "I'm good, I'll wait." Now Isabel on the other hand, "I want cereal! I don't like french toast!" and goes down to her room and refuses to come out for breakfast until Ric goes down and promises whipped cream on it for her. That kind of backfired because we're out! Meanwhile, I've made the french toast and cut some fresh strawberries and added some sweet cream dip (yummy right?). These girls not only refuse to take a bite before starting to fuss about it! At one point Alainna acts as though she's gagging! Ugh! I would love to wake up to some fresh cooked breakfast rather than boring cereal. And Ric, he starts laughing (I think encouraging) I'm so mad! This makes me not want to make anything for them, just cereal and fish sticks from now on! No more balanced diet, gourmet meals! They won't eat it!

What has happened to my kids?

Where did they go?

They used to eat everything we put on the table, now the body snatchers have taken and replaced them with these picky little snobs?

And Marybeth....... She spends her weekdays at her moms and every other weekend with us. Not a lot of time right? So we send messages to her phone when we're thinking about her. Silly texts and pictures of the girls. Speaking of pictures, she sent us an MMS of her school picuture this week and everytime we open it she has it playing music--so funny. When we write her, she never writes us back..? We've figured out a trick though, if we write her with information about Nick Jonas she writes back ASAP! So we've been teasing her a little lately, with messages about Nick breaking up with Taylor Swift and we made up that he's now dating London Tipton and she's furious because he should be single and waiting for Marybeth! How dare he? But why doesn't she write us or call before the weekend she's supposed to be here with us? Has she been snatched as well and replaced with this tweenie that's far too mature to want to hang with us older less cool parents? Maybe we"ll be cool when we take her and a friend to Busch Gardens next Friday (her Birthday) for Hallow-Scream.
Make sure to send her text on the 17th (757) 818-0533 but only after school hours (3pm est).

Someone please help us fnd our kids? Were almost ready to give up and just start fresh with a new ones...
