Valentines Day was pretty typical. We started with breakfast for the girls which was fun as usual. The girls were excited to find David Archuleta tickets inside their vases. Later that evening Diona and I went to dinner at a nice Italian restaurant and turned in early to get some rest before heading to D.C. Sunday morning.
We got up really early and headed to D.C. to visit some museums. We went to the gallery of art and let the girls witness first hand, the works of Monet, Rembrandt, Van Gogh, Leonardo DaVinci, etc... (They weren't impressed!)
No matter how many times we go to D.C., we always make a visit to the Lincoln Memorial and let the girls walk along side the Reflecting Pool because it always makes for great pictures. By the picture of them in bathing suits (below), you might think it was warm (lucky for us the nice hotel had an indoor pool) but it was a brisk 32F each day. We made the usual stop at IKEA, then a quick visit and lunch at the Marine Corps museum before battling the traffic home.
