I'll just bet that everyone has gotten tired of the pictures and want to know what's been going on with us....

Here is the skinny!

I (Diona) have transferred off of the ship! Woo hoo and yay for me!!! I am now stationed in Oceana, Va which is about 6 'YES' 6 miles away from home! Yay for me again! I was fighting 26 miles of traffic every day too and from work. Ok, enough gloating I'm sure you get it already this is a good thing for me:)

MaryBeth has made principals' list!!! That makes our pocketbook about $100.00 lighter... Whatever it takes to keep the grades up right...?

The little ones' school sent out a newsletter stating that their report cards will be sent home in the coming week so Ric told Isabel 'hers' had better make it. Not sure what that means but she smarted off with "I know dad!", maybe something went down while I was gone...

Alainna's are always high marks and Isabel just has remarks about her talking... you know how they word the reports too, "Isabel is such and 'energetic' addition to our classroom." Really what they mean is she's hyper and talks too much! We love her though she loves to talk and she can ramble for days.

Ric is ironing out all the details of his orders now we're just waiting for funding so they can print the 'hard copies' he should be heading out for 'REFTRA' in early May and in June he'll come back and we'll all be driving out to Wa. Hopefully there won't be any problems with that. There always tends to be a kink or two when it comes to my orders lets just keep our fingers crossed.

The weather out here has turned almost all of the leaves so it looks like Fall its not just feeling like Fall. It really can't make up it's mind though one day it will be 40 out and the next it will be as high as 75! I myself prefer the warmer weather but you know we have to go through all of the seasons.

As you can see from all of the pictures we invested in a WII we love it! I know there is a lot of hype but REALLY it is the best game to get everyone in the family can join in and have a good time. Alainna has been kicking our butts bowling and Isabel is getting better she's learned how to move her player the right way to knock all of the pins down. I can't wait for MaryBeth to come over and give it a try.

Well keep reading we always have something to put out....

You know I can just picture Ric and Isabel having that discussion about grades. I see the hand on the hip and everything. Boy do I miss those girls. And now that you mention the colorful leaves, I really want to be there. Blythe does not look any different than it did 3 months ago, no trees to change colors. And we still have warm weather with the evenings and mornings cool. I'm not supposed to know or say anything, but Amy got the kids a Wii for Christmas and I am excited to play some games too. I'll have to get my bowling down so I can challenge Alainna. Please pass on my congrats to Mary Beth for the grades. And congratulations to you for your GREAT transfer. Isn't Oceana right there where the exchange is? yeah, that's an easy drive. I am concerned about you guys making the move in July since that is when the family reunion is, hopefully timing will be just right for you to stop in Idaho on your way to Washington. And there you go again, another roadtrip with a new baby! Hopefully he or she won't need to hang on to your fingernail like Alainna did.
