What storm? It was a non-event. The thunderstorms we had all summer long had were much worse. We stayed in anyway and did some major fall cleaning. It was amazing how much clothes the girls had in their room and how much we now have to send to family members (put in your dibs now!). We still are trying to merge our household goods and get everything out of the apartment and into the condo or storage and we are running out of time but we made a big dent this weekend. We were surprised to find that the ceiling over in the apartment had collapsed sometime since we last went over there and it totally flooded the apartment (luckily not too much was left there).
Saturday was our anniversary and we stayed busy all day cleaning the girl’s room but Cami came over to babysit in the evening and we went out to dinner at this cool Brazilian steakhouse that serves you endless amounts of different meats brought to your table on swords by meat runners (it is a pretty cool concept). Then we made a quick stop somewhere else and got home early because we both were beat.
Well another busy week and they do not look like their going to be getting any lighter. My schedule has been extremely crunched because its Chief initiation season so the last month has been busy with working out every morning and mentoring my selectee (a motivated female who just transferred to my command from Diona’s). I’ll be so glad when they are pinned next week on the 16th so I can have a little break.
Diona is still over in the shipyard so hours are longer than desired and the drive home in traffic is a pain. She still has duty one night every week so needless to say, we cannot wait for her to be off that ship.
The first week of school was really not too exciting. Just back to the grind, with MB saying her teacher is mean, Isabel just saying "whatever", and Alainna totally loving learning.
Marybeth is enjoying her new cell phone now that she doesn’t have to worry about minutes like she had to on her past phones. It is great getting pics and txt from her and we seem to chit chat more when were not together since we can just txt.
Alainna and Isabel are still enjoying dance but unfortunately to get their classes at the same time we had to take the 4:30 class (huge struggle to make it there). Alainna is so glad soccer is back, she loves her coach (he is the best!), and I was also able to get her friend Juliana on the team this season.
Well that was an update in a nutshell, more to come later in the week.

Glad to hear the storm missed its' mark. Of course, they talk about the next one already. We spent our Saturday the same way you did. G&G left lots behind, some for Amy when she gets on her own, some for our house when I find the room and some just for a yard sale. SO we went to clean out the storage to make room for stuff and got out all old stuff to add to yard sale stuff. We loaded all yard slae stuff in Grandma's garage, then went by our house to get stuff from our garage to put in storage than back to storage (4 times). Yard Sale will be next week because the next week our ward has their annual rummage GIVE AWAY. Whatever we don't sell, we take there. I'm just tired of re-arranging to make room for stuff in house, then in garage, then in storage. I'm still cleaning G &G's house everyday. Just vaccuming and wiping down cupboards and mopping and so forth.
The Brazillian place sounds great. Glad it turned out nice.
I've heard of those Braziliam places...sound fun! James has been saying lately that we have to move somewhere that Elizabeth can take dance. She loves dancing along to Riverdance.
Love hearing what you are up to!
